The new editor of The Oxford American, Roger D. Hodge, will speak Wednesday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.
Hodge, the editor of Harper’s magazine from 2006-2010, took the Oxford reins from founding editor Marc Smirnoff this week.
During his tenure at Harper’s, Hodge was a National Magazine Award finalist seven times, winning in 2007 for fiction and in 2010 for reporting.
Hodge will be joined by writer and editor Jay Jennings as he discusses his vision for the magazine, the Clinton School said.
Seats for the 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. lecture in Sturgis Hall can be reserved by e-mailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or by calling (501) 683-5239.
