The trial for a man accused of a fatal shooting during a robbery attempt outside a Little Rock club has been delayed.
Edward Thompson III, 33, was to go to trial next week on charges including aggravated robbery and capital murder, but Pulaski County Circuit Judge Barry Sims on Thursday set new dates for Feb. 12 to Feb. 14.
Thompson didn't speak during his brief appearance in the courtroom.
He is accused of fatally shooting Richard Ratley in a parking lot near Discovery Night Club, 1021 Jessie Road, during a confrontation the morning of Dec. 24, 2011.
Investigators say it started with Thompson attempting to rob Ratley's brother. Ratley was fatally shot when he went to assist his brother.
