State parole, probation officer arrested in Delta Blues case

The Department of Justice has arrested an Arkansas Department of Community Corrections parole/probation officer in connection to an east Arkansas drug ring investigation, according to a news release.

Roxanne Davis, 38, of Wynne, was arrested in connection to the "Operation Delta Blues" case on a complaint for "extortion of cash payments from drug traffickers under her supervision," the release states.

Davis is scheduled to make an initial appearance at 4:30 p.m. Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge J. Thomas Ray.
