Arkansas’ unemployment rate in August remained unchanged at 7.3 percent, compared with July, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said Friday.
The state’s unemployment rate has wavered between 7.2 percent and 7.3 percent for the past five months.
The United States’ jobless rate declined two-tenths of a percentage point, from 8.3 percent in July to 8.1 percent in August.
