LITTLE ROCK — North Little Rock police are investigating the shooting death Saturday night of a convenience store clerk during a robbery.
About 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the EZ Mart store at 3600 MacArthur Drive after they received a call from the store’s alarm company and found the clerk, who had been shot at least once, inside on the floor, police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick said.
Three black men in dark clothing robbed the store and shot the clerk before fleeing the area, Dedrick said.
No other suspect information was immediately available, but Dedrick said investigators were at the scene late Saturday night.
Police were reviewing surveillance video Saturday night for additional information, Dedrick said.
