A Fayetteville man was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison without the possibility for parole for a federal firearms violation, a news release from U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge states.
Shane Willis, 30, was arrested July 21 when officers responded to a report of possible shots fired at a Springdale residence and located Willis at the scene with a pistol.
Willis pleaded guilty Nov. 14 to being a felon in possession of a firearm. His previous convictions include terroristic threatening, second-degree battery and second-degree domestic battery out of Washington County, the release states.
In addition to his prison term, Willis was sentenced to three years of supervised release and a $15,000 fine.
