An Austin woman died after being struck by a pickup Wednesday night in Cabot, authorities said.
It happened about 9:40 p.m. as 30-year-old Jessica D. Wade was walking south in the southbound lane of Willie Ray Drive, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Police say Wade was hit by a southbound 2005 Chevy pickup. She later died from her injuries.
No information on the pickup driver was included in the report.
The death was the 113th in a traffic accident on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
