Deeper spring cleaning

It seems a simple enough, if dreaded task: spring cleaning. But there’s more to it than picking up clutter and giving each room a deep cleaning.

There are lots of places in homes that go uncleaned because people simply don’t think to clean them, writes Tracy M. Rogers in Saturday’s HomeStyle. There many spots we often neglect, experts say.

Here’s two: the top of cabinets and the inside of water heater closets.

But don’t neglect the outside, either. Patios, decks and driveways need attention, too.
