PARAGOULD — No one was injured after a large fire destroyed a church in Paragould.
Authorities say the fire broke out late Tuesday at Browns Chapel Baptist Church. The fire spread through the entire building and shot flames several feet into the air.
Jonesboro television station KAIT reports that the church normally has about 400 parishioners.
The South Greene County Fire Department says the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
