Pelosi to speak in Little Rock

By The Associated Press

This article was published April 24, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of Calif. gestures as she speaks during a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington, Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, a day after the new Congress opened for business, to confront long-festering national problems, deficits and immigration among them, in an intensely partisan and crisis-driven era of divided government.

LITTLE ROCK — U.S. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California is scheduled to speak at an event in central Arkansas next month.

Pelosi is scheduled to discuss current affairs during a May 2 visit to the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

Pelosi has represented San Francisco for more than two decades in the U.S. House of Representatives. She served as Speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011.

She's scheduled to speak at noon on May 2 at Sturgis Hall in downtown Little Rock.

I hope there's nothing but a big vacuum there. I can't believe even the Clinton Library group would 'invite' this idiot to Arkansas.

I'm very proud of Congresswoman Pelosi. She served with dignity as the first woman to be Speaker of the House.

Repuglicants are frightened by intelligent women. Ergo, Sarah Palin.

jimo47 had rather someone like Palin come and enlighten us with her broad knowledge and wisdom of international affairs, seeing how she can see Russia from her front door.

Rotting tomatoes will be made available to those attending, on selected street corners downtown. See a homeless person for assistance.
The Clinton school continues to be FAIR and UNBALANCED. Pelosi being the latter.

Yes, Palin is much scarier. Even without her helicopter and machine gun.
