EARLE — Authorities say a teenager has turned himself in after allegedly shooting his foster father.
Crittenden County officials said the shooting happened Wednesday near Earle. They said 47-year-old Arthur Joyce was shot three times and was evacuated by air ambulance to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, Tenn. A spokesperson for the hospital did not immediately return a telephone call concerning Joyce's condition.
Investigators believed that the teen suspect was armed and on foot. But television station WREG said the 17-year-old reportedly went to his biological mother's home in Forrest City. She then called police.
