Authorities have one of two suspects in custody after a Thursday morning fatal shooting in Jacksonville.
Courtney Marshall, 32, of North Little Rock was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree battery in the shooting that led to the death of Latravis Morant, 31, according to a statement from the Jacksonville Police Department. Morant was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment of his wounds and later died.
A second victim, Sedrick Green, 33, of Jacksonville was treated for his injuries at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock and released.
Police are still searching for a second suspect, Stanley Nelson, 33. Nelson is described as standing 5 foot 9 and weighing 165 pounds.
The shooting happened about 2 a.m. at 1808 Craft St.
