One man was killed and two others were injured in an accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Ashley County, authorities said.
The accident happened about 1:40 a.m. and occurred in dry conditions, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Patrick W. Johnson, 29, of Crossett was driving north on Arkansas 133 in a 2013 Jeep Sahara when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a billboard sign, the report states.
Johnson was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Crossett residents Kalling Johnson, 29, and Kali Floyd, 15, also were in the Jeep when the accident happened, state police say. The extent of their injuries was not released.
