JONESBORO — A Jonesboro police officer saw a man drop a plastic bag from his pickup's window and wound up finding two pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.
Authorities say 26-year-old Brashawn Torris Henry of Jonesboro was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and the officer also tacked on a littering charge.
The Jonesboro Sun reported that the clear plastic bag contained suspected marijuana.
After stopping Henry's vehicle, the officer asked whether there was anything else in the truck he should know about. Police say Henry had two other plastic bags in his pants, both containing suspected marijuana.
A search of the truck turned up packages with the two pounds of suspected marijuana.
