The latest case happened about 10:45 p.m. when 32-year-old a driver attempted to make a delivery of three chicken bacon ranch pizzas to 8522 Edwina Drive, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
Police say the driver pulled up, noticed the house looked vacant and stood back to stay visible in the area "in case it was a robbery."
He then returned to his car, at which point a man ran from the side of the house holding something in his hand. The object is described in a different part of the report as an unknown firearm.
The driver sped away from the scene, and the would-be robber ran to a different house in the area. Police returned to the area, but the man was not located.
The would-be robber is described as a black man between 19 and 22 years old who stood 5-foot-11, weighed 150 pounds and wore a green Guess shirt and black shorts.
The robbery comes one week after a different Domino's driver was robbed of pizza and sandwiches at gunpoint at the Super 7 Motel at 9425 Interstate 30, which is about half-mile away from the latest robbery attempt.
The latest report indicates the same kind of pizza was ordered in the first holdup.
