Police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in a statement Thursday that police believe Markist Hampton, 19, of Little Rock and another unknown man on July 18 purportedly demanded Little Rock residents Lisa Clay, 37, and Antonio Johnson, 27, to hand over their money, phone and 2003 Saturn Ion at gunpoint. The incident happened at 26th and Oak Street in Little Rock, the police report states.
The second incident happened in August at Citi Trends at 3901 S. University Ave. in Little Rock, according to another police report.
On Aug. 12, three men — identified in the report as Hampton, Deshaun Ford and Kawon, whose last name is unknown — purportedly stole Little Rock resident Zatoric McFerguson's 2006 Ford Crown Victoria and iPhone 4 at gunpoint, police said.
Davis said the assailant believed to be Hampton had a semi-automatic handgun at both incidents. In the Aug. 12 incident, Hampton is accused of striking McFerguson in the head with a handgun.
Hampton is described as standing 6-foot-3 and weighing approximately 190 pounds, Davis said. He also goes by the nickname "Brim Boy Juvie," according to Davis.
Individuals with any information about Hampton's whereabouts are asked to contact Little Rock police.
