Lane closures on several interstates and an Arkansas highway in Little Rock have been set into the weekend, highway officials said Friday.
I-430 weekend lane closure in LR at "Big Rock" interchange
Northbound traffic at the Interstate 430/630 interchange in Little Rock will be funneled into one lane over the weekend, highway officials said.
The northbound lanes, excluding one for traffic, will close 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Construction workers will be installing overhead sign structures for I-430 northbound lanes at the interchange, department officials said.
The department said drivers should know:
- Traffic should be minimal for motorists exiting I-430 north to Shackleford Road.
- They must yield before entering I-430 north from Shackleford Road.
- They must exercise caution when exiting I-430 north to I-630 east, because they will have to quickly move to the right.
- There will be periodic 15-minute stops for the installation of overhead sign structures.

Starting 8 p.m. Sunday, the westbound inside and center lanes will close each night through 5 a.m. Friday, officials said.
