Meredith Claire Frieberg became the bride of Andrew Price Henson at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Anthony Chapel in Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs. Jason Curry of the Church at Rock Creek officiated.

Parents of the bride are Kathi and Brad Frieberg, 10 Hearthside Drive. She is the granddaughter of Joan Halas of Brookfield, Ill.; the late Dr. Norman F. Westermann and the late Frances T. Westermann, both of Fort Smith; and the late Ronald C. Frieberg of Chicago.

The groom is the son of Marcia and Bill Henson of Fort Smith. He is the grandson of Dr. Betty Lou Steele, the late Leo Pat Steele and the late Bill Henson, all also of Fort Smith; and the late Dixie and Oble Robertson of Mulberry.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and wore a strapless mermaid-style gown with organza layers and a sweep train. She carried green dianthus, green cymbidium orchids and bells of Ireland.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Diana Frieberg Plattner, sister of the bride, and Jessa Mehlhof, both of Fayetteville. Bridesmaids were Sarah Kurru and Kiley Steele, both of Little Rock; Ellyn Brown of San Jose, Calif.; Madison Allison of Jonesboro; Britani Heim of Fayetteville; and Jennifer Frieberg and Melissa Frieberg, both of Brookfield, Ill., and Erin Westermann ofAmarillo, Texas, cousins of the bride. They wore citron green chiffon gowns and carried coral long-stemmed calla lilies.

Best man was William Ralph Henson III of Los Angeles, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Rumsey, Drew Heim, Ross Plattner and Rustin Treat, all of Fayetteville; Simon Simon III of Oklahoma City; Ricky Beauchamp and Benji Pryor, both of Fort Smith; and Vince Ward and Matthew Parker, both of Little Rock.

Seating guests were Brad Audrain, Stuart Baber, Andrew Duck and Conner McNair, all of Fayetteville; and Steve Creekmore and Taylor Moore, both of Little Rock.

A reception at Mountain Valley Visitor Center in Hot Springs followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered in citron and black linens and centered with arrangements of hydrangeas, bells of Ireland and coral roses in square crystal containers. Music was by DMP Band.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is working toward a master’s degree in speech language pathology.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the university and is a real estate developer.

After a honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple will live in Fayetteville.
