Not all of the break-ins included information about how much property was taken. But those that did totaled $144,666.97 worth of stolen items. About a quarter of that total — $36,000 — was taken in a single burglary at a Little Rock UPS facility, where four pieces of expensive equipment were stolen. A report on that incident shows the items were recovered from a nearby Dumpster.
The preliminary reports also show $4,455 in cash was taken during the burglaries for a total of $149,121.97 in stolen cash and property during the week.
The highest concentration of burglaries was in the 72209 zip code, where 17 were reported in the most recent week. Eleven each were reported in the 72204 and 72211 zip codes.
