JONESBORO — Police in Jonesboro have released the name of a man that officers say was shot and killed inside a nightclub on the city's west side.
Police Sgt. Doug Formon told KAIT that 22-year-old Xavier White was shot just before 2 a.m. Saturday inside En'Vision and died later at a Jonesboro hospital.
Police say a 33-year-old Fayetteville man surrendered to police later Saturday and is being held in the county jail pending a formal hearing that Formon said is expected to be held either Monday or Tuesday.
