The November figures, which come from daily reports provided by the Little Rock agency and are not finalized statistics, showed 221 residential burglaries and 33 commercial burglaries.

That was up nearly 6 percent from October, when 215 residential burglaries and 25 commercial burglaries were reported.

Not all of the November cases included estimates of the property or cash taken. Of those that did, $790,270.59 in property and $10,976 in cash (for a total of $801,246.59) was reported as stolen.

That is nearly double the $404,016.50 reported in October; however, the figures are inflated by two cases: One of which a woman said nearly $270,000 worth of valuables were taken from her home while she was in jail, and another in which $200,000 in property was reported taken during the burglary of a jewelry store.

Excluding those outliers, the monthly property and cash reported taken in November's burglaries would have totaled $332,394.59.

In September, when 242 residential burglaries and 23 commercial burglaries were reported, a total of $374,886.36 was estimated as taken. In August, when 247 residential burglaries and 43 commercial burglaries were reported, a total of $488,483.22 in property and cash was estimated as stolen.

The 72209 zip code had the most burglaries with 65 in the November period, followed by 72204 with 47 and 72205 with 34.

Also in November, the preliminary statistics show 111 robberies occurred over the month, up from 77 in October and 98 in September. Of the November robberies, 28 were reported in 72209, 24 in 72204 and 19 in 72205.
