A man who's been wanted by authorities in connection with a Thanksgiving murder in Pine Bluff has turned himself in, police say.

Brandon McClatchie, 23, surrendered to authorities and was booked Tuesday afternoon into the Jefferson County jail on multiple warrants, according to a statement from the Pine Bluff Police Department. The warrants include three petitions to revoke parole and possession of a firearm by a certain person, according to the jail’s website. He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond, according to the website.

McClatchie is wanted for questioning in the investigation into the murder of Dametrick McDaniel, 25. McDaniel’s body was discovered in an apartment in a complex at 2600 S. Beech St. after McDaniel’s three-year-old daughter knocked on a neighbor’s door in the complex.

Police were called and an investigation into where the child came from led them to Apartment I in the complex, where the front door was found open. Inside, authorities found McDaniel laying in a pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 1 a.m.

Pine Bluff police spokesman Lt. Derrick Price said McClatchie is just being questioned and has not been formally charged with anything relating to the shooting.

Police in Kansas City, Kan. recently arrested Rashune Raglon, 25, and charged him in connection with the case. Raglon was found after interviews and tips led to a regional manhunt. A third person, Jeremy Reed, 22, turned himself in Monday. Reed was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
