Woman's body found in car pulled from northeast Arkansas lake

MANILA — Authorities say a woman's body was found in a car that was pulled from a lake in Mississippi County.

The body was recovered Tuesday and officials have not released the name of the victim.

Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook told Jonesboro television station KAIT that the car was submerged in the Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge.

Cook said the vehicle went in the water around Brights Landing.
