Teen robbed at gunpoint while pumping gas

Authorities are looking for an assailant who robbed an 18-year-old man at gunpoint as the victim pumped gas at a Little Rock station.

It happened shortly after 11 p.m. Monday at the Valero at 8921 Fourche Dam Pike, police said.

The victim told investigators the robber first asked whether he smoked marijuana, next asked for money and then pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's wallet as he gave the man a dollar.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the robber then got in a car described as a dark red or maroon older-model sedan and drove north from the area with the stolen wallet.

The robber is described as a 25- to 35-year-old black man who stood about 5-foot-9 and weighed about 140 pounds. He was wearing a black, gray and red knit cap, and bluejeans.
