CLARKSVILLE — A man is to serve life in prison for the stabbing death of a 6-year-old girl in Johnson County.
Jurors on Thursday convicted 22-year-old Kou Her of first-degree murder, attempted kidnapping and a number of other charges related to the May 16 death of Autumn Vang.
Her was sentenced to two life terms, plus 47 years.
Authorities described Her as a distant relative to Vang. Investigators said Her broke into a home where the girl was staying Hartman early May 10.
