Memphis police seek Game Stop robber

Memphis officers are searching for a man who robbed a Game Stop store earlier this week.

Police received a call about 1:37 p.m. Tuesday about a robbery at the Game Stop at 6223 Winchester Road. Officers were told a man had walked in, pretended to be a customer and then pointed a handgun at the employees behind the counter and demanded cash from the register, according to a Memphis Police Department statement. Employees handed over the money, and the robber left.

The robber is described as a medium-complected black man, between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet tall, wearing a blue Tennessee Titans hat, a white T-shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans and white tennis shoes.

No arrests have been made.
