A Little Rock mother is accused of pulling a knife on her two adult children during an argument Monday, police said.

Angela Hubbard, 47, was booked into the Pulaski County jail on two counts of aggravated assault on a family member.

Little Rock police say Hubbard was in a "verbal altercation" about 7 p.m. with her 20-year-old daughter and 23-year-old son in the family's home in the 1300 block of Jones Street.

According to an arrest report, Hubbard "became angry," walked up to the children with the knife and shook it in their faces, "threatening them."

Hubbard remained in the jail Tuesday morning with bail not yet set.

Having your mother who allows you in her home to be arrested because she waved a knife at you? I only can imagine what they were doing or saying. It is one thing to try to have somebody committed for their own mental health protection. Did they really need to have her arrested? If adult kids do not like their Mom, they should just move out and stop visiting.

Rational people do not wave knives in their children's faces.

They're not children and I doubt there are any rational people involved in this story.

Mother, some words of wisdom. Mom, after this, do not let them live in your house anymore unless they can learn some respect. I hope that they are not feeling proud of themselves.
