The North Little Rock Police Department has set its annual "Santa on the Hill" celebration for Wednesday.
For the sixth year, the department invites parents and children "to join Santa Claus and his elves for cookies, candy, and hot chocolate" from 3-5 p.m. in the parking lot of Park Hill Baptist Church, Officer Carmen Helton said in a statement. The church sits at 201 E. C Ave. in the Park Hill neighborhood of North Little Rock.
Officers will also be on hand to ensure child safety seats are properly installed in vehicles, the department said.
