LITTLE ROCK — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in southeastern Arkansas and flood warnings and watches in much of the remainder of the state.
The tornado watch is in effect until 8 p.m. Saturday for Monroe, Arkansas, Drew, Bradley, Jefferson, Desha and Lincoln counties.
A flash flood warning is in effect along a line from Camden through Little Rock to Brinkley and to the Blytheville area. The weather service said 5 to 6 inches of rain is possible in some areas and many streams and rivers are already rain swollen.
A flood warning and flash flood watch are in effect for much of the remainder of the state.
