The Quapaw Quarter Association celebrated “saving places” at its third annual Festivus for the Best of Us, which took place Dec. 10 in the Grand Hall of the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion.
Awaiting attendees were an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and silent-auction items that included dinners, parties, wines, getaways, and works by local artists, including paintings of Little Rock landmarks by John Kushmaul.
The association promotes the preservation of Little Rock’s historic architectural heritage through advocacy, marketing and education.
