Silver Gloves rescheduled for Dec. 27-28
The Arkansas Silver Gloves Boxing Association and the North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Center will host the rescheduled Arkansas Silver Gloves Championship Tournament on Dec. 27-28 at the North Little Rock Community Center.
Boxers representing 22 Arkansas boxing clubs will compete in the tournament. Champions will advance to the Silver Gloves Regional Tournament in North Little Rock on Jan. 16-18 with champions from Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma.
Bouts begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. For more information, call the Community Center at (501) 791-8541.
