The cause of a fire that burned an estimated $80,000 in damage to a downtown Little Rock home Sunday remains under investigation, officials said Monday.
Crews were called shortly after 9 p.m. to the home on the south side of Third Street between Pulaski and Cross streets, finding flames shooting from the windows of the two-story brick structure.
Little Rock Fire Department Capt. Jason Weaver said no information on the cause of the fire can be released until a more thorough review is complete.
"We don't want to do anything to impede their investigation," Weaver said Monday.
Two men who were in the home got out on their own without serious injuries, officials said, though one did get oxygen at the scene for possible smoke inhalation. He was not taken to the hospital, Weaver said.
The home suffered an estimated $75,000 in structure damage and another $5,000 in damage to contents.
