CONWAY - Billy Duffield, 85, 350 Grandview Heights left hisearthly home for his new Heavenly Home, Sunday December 22, 2013. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Luke Duffield of Pottsville, Ark. Most days beginning with his exercise to help with a heart problem he developed at an early age. He was an avid supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the ABC Boxing Club.

He began this life with the help of his wife of 66 years Ernestine Crow of Dardanelle, Ark. To this blessed reunion came their greatest pride, their two sons. God blessed them with Larry and Randy Duffield. Randy married Katy Traffanstedt, and from this marriage he was able to enjoy the love of a grandson Blake Duffield, and he added to this family wife Leslie Magee.

And as important as family Billy was blessed with many friends, but one extra ordinary that God blessed him with for many years; Jimmy Younts stoodby him in good times as they attended many sports events. As Billy’s health became worse he stood by him traveling to hospitals and wherever he could be of help he was there. Besides his immediate family he had surviving him brother and sisters; Margaret Taylor, Ronnie Duffield, Carolyn Kendrick all who live in Pope County and Linda Duffield of Amelia Island, FL, many nephews, nieces and a host of friends. We thought of the perfect scripture for Billy found in II Timothy 4 verses 6-8: “6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love hisappearing.”
