Highway officials will create a detour off U.S. 67 in White County two days this week while crews make repairs.
Work is needed between mile markers 51 and 55, already a construction zone where traffic is down to one lane in both directions, so northbound traffic will be diverted off the highway at the Judsonia exit (51), will run to Arkansas 367 through Bald Knob, and will return to U.S. 67 at the Bald Knob/Batesville exit (55), the state Highway and Transportation Department said.
The closures are set for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday.
