A driver was killed Wednesday in Bradley County when an oncoming vehicle crossed the centerline and hit her Chevrolet truck head-on, authorities said.
It happened about 6:30 p.m. on North Martin and Bryant streets in Warren.
Authorities say Karen Henry, 56, of Warren, was driving her Chevrolet truck north on Martin Street when a southbound Chevrolet truck driven by Armando Roque, 42, of Warren, crossed the centerline. The vehicles collided head-on, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Henry died at the scene. Roque was not injured.
It wasn't clear what caused the vehicle to cross into the opposing lane. Conditions at the time were described as clear and dry.
The death was the 465th fatality in a traffic accident in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
