The Little Rock Marathon isn’t until March, but this weekend brings the inauguration of a new central Arkansas marathon. The Three Bridges Marathon takes runners over the Big Dam Bridge, the Two Rivers Bridge and the Clinton Presidential Bridge starting at 7 a.m. Saturday at the base of the Two Rivers Bridge in Little Rock. Registration is sold out, but spectators are welcome. The website suggests several locations for spectators, including Cooks Landing in North Little Rock, Burns Park Dog Park, Rockwater Marina and Two Rivers Park. A mugging and bigamy lead to plenty of comic troubles in Run for Your Wife, the Christmas show at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse. Rumble and ramble over the fields around the mountain as Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers a Holiday Hayride, 3-5 p.m. Saturday. Billed as Arkansas’ largest drive-through light display, Enchanted Land of Lights & Legends will continue through Tuesday at Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park,off U.S. 63 in downtown Pine Bluff. This year’s extravaganza features more than 220 displays and 1.2 miles of lights and is open 6-9 p.m. daily. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Downtown Fayetteville is even brighter than usual this year with Lights of the Ozarks. Instead of just the downtown square, the light displays spread down Block Avenue to Dickson Street, lighting up every day at 5 p.m. through Tuesday. On the other side of the state, Blytheville is home to the Lights of the Delta through Friday at 3089 Louisiana Ave., Blytheville. Hours are 5:30-9 p.m. today, 5:30-10 p.m. Friday. The drive-through lighting bonanza includes 6 million lights on a 40-acre site. Admission is $10 per vehicle with up to 12 passengers, $20 for small buses, $50 for full-size buses.
