LR teen charged with capital murder

Police have arrested a Little Rock teenager in a man's fatal shooting earlier this week, Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said Friday.

Allen said that Kaylon Robinson, 15, turned himself in to officers Tuesday. He was charged with one count of capital murder Thursday afternoon "based on interviews and all of the evidence collected by detectives," Allen said.

Robinson has been taken to Pulaski County jail, where his bond has been set at $75,000 for an additional charge in criminal use of a prohibited weapon, according to the county jail's website.

On Monday, police found Verico Ingram, 26, inside his parked Cadillac Deville that was still running in the 4200 block of West 15th Street after a person had heard three shots and saw two men run from the area.

Ingram was taken to the UAMS Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said at the time that they were looking for two black teenage boys, ages about 16 to 18, wearing dark-colored hoodies and black pants. Information wasn't immediately available on whether police had identified a second suspect.
