3 millionth visitor has luck of Irish

A visitor from Ireland was the 3 millionth person to tour the Clinton Presidential Center on Friday.

Diarmuid Coyle of Dublin - who was in the Little Rock area visiting friends - was fifth in the door for the day, said William J. Clinton Foundation spokesman Jordan Johnson.

Foundation officials knew the milestone was approaching and had been keeping track person by person, Johnson said.

To mark the event, Coyle received a signed copy of former President Bill Clinton’s autobiography, My Life; lunch for four at Forty Two, the restaurant inside the presidential library; a one-year family membership to the center; and $100 to spend at the Clinton Museum Store, a news release said.

The center opened Nov. 18, 2004.
