Starlight Gala
BRYANT — The third annual Starlight Gala, titled An Enchanted Evening, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at 6401 Boone Road. The night will feature food from chef Bonner Cameron, entertainment, dancing and an array of items for purchase during the silent auction. This charity event is a black-tie occasion. New Year’s Gala
HOT SPRINGS — The Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa will hold its New Year’s Gala on Tuesday. The event will include two parties. The Gala Dinner Dance will include a five-course gourmet dinner with wine, a champagne toast and dance music provided by the Stardust Big Band. Holiday Closings

Gallery Walk
HOT SPRINGS — Historic downtown Hot Springs will be the site for a Gallery Walk from 5-9 p.m. The free event offers participants a chance to see some of the contemporary art found in the city. Food for Fines
BENTON/BRYANT — The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton and the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant will forgive late fees on patron accounts with a donation of nonperishable food items through Tuesday. Fine forgiveness only goes toward late fees, not replacement or processing fees. Ageless Bikers Club

Merry Mixers Dance Club
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Hot Springs Village Merry Mixers dance to live music on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Coronado Community Center. On the third Saturday, a lesson is held at 7 p.m. Admission is $7.50 per person for first-Saturday dances and $10 per person for third-Saturday dances. Club members get a discount for the season. Rhythmic Interactive Percussion
HOT SPRINGS — A Rhythmic Interactive Percussion musical event takes place from 5-9 p.m. every Sunday at Kenneth Adair Park, 358 Central Ave. Everyone is invited. Participation is encouraged as ensemble members pass out drums, tambourines, maracas and more to audience members. Eagle Watch
MOUNTAIN PINE — Lake Ouachita State Park will hold Eagle Watch Weekend on Jan. 18 and 19. Park officials will offer boat tours of the lake in hopes of giving attendees a glimpse of wintering birds, other area wildlife and bald eagles. Eagles Et Cetera
BISMARCK — The longest-running eagle-awareness event in Arkansas, Eagles Et Cetera, will celebrate its 35th year on Jan. 24-26 at DeGray Lake Resort State Park.
