A Dunkin Donuts in Little Rock was robbed Thursday night by a man who jumped the counter and pulled out a gun, authorities said.
Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said it happened about 7:40 p.m. at the Cantrell Road location.
Davis said the robber first jumped the counter and grabbed cash out of a register before pulling out a handgun and forcing employees to open the safe. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and a black-and-white knit cap. He ran south from the business.
Davis said police are looking into whether this robbery is tied to other restaurant robberies. Sonic and Denny's have been held up in Little Rock in recent days.
"It's too early to tell now," Davis said. "It's a possibility."

C'mon peole. This isn't about race. It's about culture - an entitlement culture created by decades of failed liberal social policies. That statistically the chances are about 10-1 this individual is black does not make the statistic racist. It just makes it a fact.
Hey Populist - Based on national crime statistics, is LR any more of a "mess" than Memphis, Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans, or Detroit?

Germans may have killed millions of people in the Holocaust, but I am not going to say offensive things about every German. There are many fine black people in Little Rock or elsewhere. I don't see black people posting offensive remarks every time a white person does something.
Yes, inner city crime is horrible. Some of this is due to "failed liberal social policies" of welfare and some of it is due to hundreds of years of brutal treatment--bad schools, lynchings etc. It does not help when the conservatives preach backward policies of good schools don't matter. Some of the problems of the black community are self-imposed, but some of them are in no small part caused by growing up in an atmosphere of racism.

You can always find racist remarks when people can hide behind these posts. Fact is the most deranged crimes such as recent theatre shooting, school shootings, wife killers, kid killers, were not done by black men...so lets tell like it is. White people have done their share. Surprised??? Not me.

You are aware that killing people one at a time, multible times, as you imply the blacks must do since they are not mass killers, still mounts up and amounts to the same outcome....DEAD!!
You need to read the paper in Little Rock and also in Memphis Tn. and you will see the number of killings/murders as they actually are!!!

There are good and bad people of every race. Some communities have less crime than others because good people work together to make those communities stronger. Instead of looking down your noses at other people, think about what you can do as a volunteer or donor to make Little Rock a better place to live.

What is wrong with the truth? You want to hide your head in the sand and play like crime between the races are the same. It IS NOT! Do you read the paper? Can you comprehend what you read if you do read the paper. This is just the ADG. Read the Memphis paper or the Dallas papers or the Chicago papers! Populist....what makes you think calling black crime as it really is, is looking down your nose at the criminals? I HATE the criminals and volunteering to do what will help stop them? What kind of a donor are you talking about? A sperm donor that might eventually turn the black criminals mostly white over time? Surely you don't mean donating money!! Money is what these black criminals are stealing!! You are not that dumb are you?
You try to act intelligent.....show some proof that black crime IS NOT greater by a large margin over white crime. Not in dollars stolen but crimes committed. White criminals are smarter and go for the big money stealing. It doesen't make the white criminals any less hated by me. Killing some of the criminals would be better than donating anything!

Little Rock does not represent the whole world, Harley. Where I live, the crime seems to be committed by all races fairly evenly. There may at times be more blacks, but not enough to give white people any bragging rights at all. And yes, there are black people here. The largest city in this area is an old, old town and has had a large black population for a very long time.
It is impossible not to notice that people like yourself absolutely never speak up and say it was a white person when a white person commits a crime, but are first to make a snide comment when it is a black or Hispanic.
I am not stupid (and, not being dumb, I also am capable of speech), I read the papers and many other things, my reading comprehension is excellent, and it is not necessary to shout as me!
Do you even notice all the white people on the TV news who have committed crimes? I think maybe you don't because you are focused on only noticing the black ones.

In my area most of the noticeable crime is hispanic. The blacks in my area are professionals. I guess that you would not consider slavery or lynchings crimes? What about all the white crimes that we read in the paper--university officials, politicians etc? Would you consider the extermination of Jews and others in the Holocaust crimes? Those bad guys were white. What about all the murders during the Crusades? We could go through history and count all the evil deeds by the various races. While the blacks have had their share of bad guys such as Idi Amin, I just don't know that a good case can be made that one race commits more crime than others.
