Wendy's robbers force employees, customers into cooler

Authorities are looking for a pair of robbers who forced employees and customers at a Little Rock Wendy's into a cooler while they made off with cash.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Wendy's at 11319 N. Rodney Parham Road.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the two men were armed with handguns when they entered the restaurant and demanded money.

Police say the two men forced employees and two customers into the cooler and then had them surrender their phones while the manager emptied the registers and the safe.

A witness followed the robbers as they left the premises in a blue 1980s Chevrolet Impala, but he lost track of the vehicle on Interstate 630.

The robbers were described as black men between 18 and 25 years old. One was about 6-foot-1, weighed 150 pounds, had a thin mustache and wore all red except for silver jeans. The other was said to be about 6- feet tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with Hello Kitty in stones on the back.

No arrests have been made.
