LITTLE ROCK A young child was injured Tuesday morning in an accident on Asher Avenue in Little Rock.
It happened about 7:20 a.m. at Woodrow Street.
Initial reports suggested the child, whose age was unclear, was ejected from a sport utility vehicle. Police on scene said it wasn't clear whether the child was actually thrown from the vehicle.
The youth was conscious and crying while being loaded into an ambulance.
The driver was also injured.
Details on what happened weren't immediately known, but it appeared the SUV hit a utility pole and then spun around into the road.
Asher east of Woodrow remained closed shortly before 8 a.m. while crews cleared the scene.

So the care seat or seat belt had an ejector button? I hope the child is ok and the parent gets a visit later from the state on child safety..
