Dense fog blankets much of state

LITTLE ROCK A dense fog advisory is in effect for much of Arkansas, limiting visibility and potentially creating hazardous driving conditions, the National Weather Service said.
The advisory runs through 9 a.m. for the fog, which can reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less.
The weather service say motorists should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of following distance.
The advisory covers more than 30 counties.
