Rapert: ‘Minority’ remark was taken out of context

State Sen. Jason Rapert said Monday that he was referring to political beliefs when he told a crowd in 2011 that “minorities” shouldn’t “run roughshod over what you people believe in.” The speech has been available online since 2011, said Rapert, a Republican from Bigelow.
