— NEXT WEEK You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog: Noble canines show off their beauty and

talent at the South Arkansas Kennel Club Dog Shows and Obedience Trials and Rally, Feb. 15-17 at Highland Airport, 204 Veterans Road, Camden.

Shows start at 5 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Admission is $5, $1 for ages 65 and older and children 6-12. Call (870) 836-7297 or visit arkansasdogs.com.

You ain’t nothin’ but an Irish hound dog: There will be a lot of green in a small space when Hot Springs celebrates the First Ever 10th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 6 p.m. March 17 on Bridge Street down

town. A street dance follows the parade, which features Irish Elvis imper

sonators, Irish wolfhounds, leprechauns, bands and celebrity grand mar
