Bald Knob Driver Course
BALD KNOB — The Bald Knob AARP chapter will hold an AARP driver safety course from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 1507 W. Look Good, Feel Better
BATESVILLE — The American Cancer Society will present Look Good, Feel Better, a program for women undergoing cancer treatment, from 9-11 a.m. at the White River Medical Center Cancer Care Center for first-time class participants. The program uses trained cosmetologists to teach cancer patients how to enhance their appearance and self-image during cancer treatment. For the Love of the Arts
JACKSONVILLE — The Jacksonville High School Fine Arts Department will hold its second annual For the Love of the Arts celebration of African-American heritage through fine arts at 6 p.m. at the school’s media center. The event will feature special musical and dramatic performances, and an exhibition of artwork by current and former Jacksonville High School students and by Jacksonville art teacher Glenda McCune that pertains to the African-American culture.
