The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department has rescheduled the installation of highway signs in Texarkana that was delayed because of inclement weather.

The department says two overhead metal signs on Arkansas 245 will be installed starting about 11 p.m. Tuesday and is to be complete by about 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The signs will cross the northbound and southbound lanes of Arkansas 245 between South State Line Avenue and Arkansas 549.

The department says South State Line Avenue and Arkansas 549 will not be affected, although both north- and southbound lanes of Arkansas 245 may be closed for intervals of up to 15 minutes during the installation.
