Where I live: I live in Maumelle in the Fairway Woods area next to Maumelle Country Club. I live here with my 17-year-old son, Cole, and my 3-year-old full-throttle yellow Lab, Abby.
Occupation: I am the business development manager for Ben E. Keith Foods of Arkansas.
My favorite space is: My backyard deck.
Why? It’s the perfect spot - nearly always in the shade of a few huge trees. It backs up right next to the first hole of the Maumelle Country Club. I’m out here frequently in the mornings, reading the newspaper and exercising. Then after work, cooking dinner while having a beer and listening to music. I love to watch Abby run around on the golf course. I also enjoy watching the golfers come by - most of whom I know - and talking a little trash about their sorry golf swings, especially if they’ve fired one off of my roof or my dog.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Make no change to the deck, but I wish these cheap hacks would start using better golf balls. I need some more Pro V1s.
