Police working to ID body found in Tulsa

TULSA — Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found in the Arkansas River in Tulsa.
Police say that three men who were practicing archery discovered the man’s body Monday afternoon beneath the 71st Street bridge in Tulsa. The man’s body was found on a sandbar.
Authorities confirm the victim is male but have not yet released his name.
The state medical examiner’s office will determine a cause and manner of death.
