Woman headbutts Little Rock officer

— A Little Rock woman was arrested and charged with second-degree battery on an officer, among other charges, Tuesday morning.

Little Rock Police responded to a disturbance with a weapon call at the Motel 6 at 7700 Scott Hamilton Drive about 9:30 a.m.

Police say Jasmine Tucker, 19, of Little Rock, and her boyfriend began arguing after the boyfriend referred to Tucker as an unfit mother. The police report states while officers were speaking to the boyfriend, Tucker began yelling obscenities from the parking lot.

Officers made contact with Tucker at a nearby Exxon and brought her back for questioning.

As officers neared the police vehicle with Tucker, she headbutted one of the officers, resulting in a small cut on her tongue, according to the police report.

Officers said Tucker was placed under arrest and further investigation showed two warrants out for her arrest.

The police report states Tucker was charged with second-degree battery, resisting arrest, contempt of court and failure to appear. She was transported to the Pulaski County jail.
